Kylie's letter 2-27-12

This week was good, marked two dates for baptism! Wahoo!!!!! But I am pretty sure, almost 100% I will be transferred, Presidente keeps dropping hints like I have been in this area for two long etc. So who knows where Sis P will be next week.

But this week was the official day of carnival, I really do not like doing missionary work during the holidays with carnival and everything. Basically everyday is traveling and the work was really really slow. But I am excited for this month to start up and get going again. Tuesday - the actual day of carnival we had a conference of sisters. Sisters conference I mean - I cant speak English any more. It was very fun. We had all the sisters from the mission in the house of presidente. I mean presidentes house. We also had a few of the sisters sleep over at our house the night before sisters conference and after it was a fun fiesta in our little house. But we had a few training things and got to watch movies two. Watched tangled and enchanted. Foi muito bom!

Suali is really stuggling with cigarettes still. But we are still going to visit her and support her. she is starting this nicotine patch program which she thinks is her last hope. so I hope it works for her. She is so ready to be baptized it is just this stupid addiction.

Tais - she has a lot of questions and a lot of doubts which is really good because she is searching. It is better than the investigators that just accept whatever, get baptized, and after their missionaries leave never come to church. When she accepted the baptismal date she said, Yes, this is what I have been waiting for! It will be next transfer, bummer. But still grateful that I got to get to know her.

Jonathon- He is the most humble and religious young man I have ever met. He is so sincere and really wants to know if everything we are saying is true. He has a date for next transfer too, hope and pray that he will follow through!

Love you all! Hope all is well with you and the rest of the family. Thanks for letters, love, and your prayers! You are all in mine tambem.

Beijos,

kylie
